Mission Statement
Gentle Knit Yarns will only sell high quality hand dyed yarns at reasonable and fair prices for my customers.
To achieve this standard I only use high quality yarns and acid dyes sourced from ethically responsible suppliers.
I keep my prices at a reasonable cost to support my business and they will never be subject to excessive inflation.
Ethical Responsibility
I exhaust and absorb all excess dyes to prevent them from entering our waste water systems.
To reduce water consumption, I reuse exhausted dye water during the dyeing process.
I use waterproof, biodegradable or compostable mailer bags when available.
Belly bands, tissue wrapping and thank you notes are paper based and recyclable.
