Mission Statement
Gentle Knit Yarns will only sell high quality hand dyed yarns at reasonable and fair prices for my customers.
To achieve this standard I only use high quality yarns and acid dyes sourced from ethically responsible suppliers to create my unique indie dyed yarns.
My prices are kept at a reasonable cost to support my business and customers and will never be subject to excessive inflation.
Ethical Responsibility
I use recycled packaging as much as possible.
I exhaust and absorb all excess dyes to prevent them from entering our waste water systems.
I reuse exhausted dye water to recycle water and reduce water consumption.
I use waterproof, biodegradable or compostable mailer bags when available.
Belly bands and thank you notes are paper based and recyclable.
