The yarn I want is out of stock. How can I order it?
If you see a colour way you want to buy, but it’s out of stock, please message me. I may be restocking it soon or it may be available to you as a pre order or custom order.
I want a particular colour on a different base. Can I request a custom order?
Please send me a message and I will do my best to create the perfect yarn for you.
Please note: Custom orders may or may not be available at the time of request. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. Custom orders are treated as special requests and are not eligible for refund or return unless faulty.
What types of yarn do you sell?
I sell Superwash 4 ply sock yarn and a small variety of other luxury bases.
My most popular yarn bases are:
- 4 ply super sock 75/25 merino/nylon
- 4 ply soft sock 85/15 merino/nylon
- 4 ply 50/50 merino/silk
All of my undyed yarns are mulesing free and sourced from ethical, reputable UK suppliers.
All my hand dyed yarns are created and stored in a smoke and pet free environment. Yarn is stored in protective bags and boxes and kept away from direct sunlight to protect from any dust, fading or contaminants.
What dyes do you use?
I use professional acid dyes from reputable UK based stockists.
The mordant I use to permanently fix the dye pigment to the yarn, is a food grade citric acid powder.
This is an odourless mild acidic salt that has a similar PH value similar to water.
Acid dyes are stored securely when not in use. I use full P.P.E mask, goggles, gloves, apron when using acid dyes. I have a safe, designated studio space to dye and dry my yarns.
